Shannon Bain

Discovering a need to be closer to the forest was a defining moment in Shannon’s life. Luckily, her husband was on the same page. Their search for the country life took them from downtown Toronto to Burnt River, Ontario and there they found their dream home. They named the property ‘Cedar Brae’ for the namesake trees which line the ridge where the log cabin was built. The Bain’s immediately found a lifelong home in the Kawartha Lakes. Besides drastically changing the scenery on their commutes to work, Shannon and her husband have truly enjoyed the change of pace; small town living suits their wish to live life deeply and with intention.

Now that she lives in a natural setting, Shannon is whole heartedly behind any and every effort to save and protect our one and only planet. She believes in being an active part in the community and currently sits on the Fenelon Falls Horticultural Society Board and is the editor of their newsletter. A perpetual student, Shannon looks forward to mastering the ancient arts of gardening, woodworking and homemaking. The heart of Cedar Brae is the kitchen, where Shannon can be found every night making an old favourite recipe or a new one that caught her eye or tickled her tummy! And when she isn’t working for a client or out seeing properties, she will most likely be found with a camera or a sketch pad in her hand.

After spending 10+ years in the commercial leasing industry working with national retail companies on their real estate portfolios, Shannon is overjoyed to join the team at Fenelon Falls Real Estate Ltd.
